I wish they’d make a 15 passenger version for all the large families!
- rasz 3y agoYou dont want fuel efficient V16 engine of Chevy Goliath? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MI7Tq6sRxE4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MI7Tq6sRxE4
- local_crmdgeon 3y agoEveryone is bickering but I agree! Also, there are SO MANY church and camp busses. There's a million medium sized vehicles that make life possible that people just ignore.
- geodel 3y agoI mean we can have it irrespective of family size in US. A single driver roaming around in a 15 passenger vehicle would be totally normal.
- TulliusCicero 3y ago...how many families do you think have 10+ kids? In the developed world, where people can afford their stuff? Just seems like a super niche market.
- thinkerswell 3y agoDoesn’t take 10+, even 5 can make a minivan feel cramped.
- callalex 3y agoIf you can’t fit a family of 5 in a minivan it’s time for a diet.
- thinkerswell 3y ago5 kids
- jbm 3y agoI have a family of 6 and there are no decently priced EVs that fit it. I use a Model 3 for our daily driver (since all 6 of us usually are not going out together) and have a Sienna when we go out as a family, or for long distances. I don't want an SUV, frankly I want the Canoo (https://www.canoo.com/ https://www.canoo.com/) - but I am pretty sure they are going to be vaporware in a few years. Maybe the new Volkswagen will work. (WRT large families, even a 2 + 2 might have to drive the grandparents or visiting family members.)
- sorenjan 3y agoThe VW id.buzz will be available as a 7 seater. https://youtube.com/watch?v=d4Vi9crNBzo https://youtube.com/watch?v=d4Vi9crNBzo
- thinkerswell 3y agoExactly right, if parents want to come along you’re hosed even in a Sienna. I of course understand it’s a smaller market but I’m very excited to try the first EV full sized passenger van.
