- AuthConnectFail 3y agoit's around 6-8$ per 1000 views
- paulpauper 3y agonot at all. Good niches and demographics pay a lot.
- Justsignedup 3y agoas stated by many creators, most revenue for content creators is merchandising. The ad revenue is a nice extra bit. The big thing is, ever if they got $0 from revenue, their lion's share still comes from other sources. And blocking views hurts them significantly more than loss of revenue from ads due to lack of the big money movers which are based on views not ads.
- paulpauper 3y agoyeah, Sponsor Block...the bane of VPNs, website builders, and shaving clubs everywhere. This has gotten so pervasive I cannot blame people for blocking it. You're watching a video about physics and it transitions Einstein needing to protect his privacy with a VPN..the segues have gotten more subtle and annoying.
- Justsignedup 3y agoyeah i haven't seen an ad or sponsor message on youtube in years, and I can't fathom using it with ads. I rather be bored and stare at a wall.
