Thanks for your honesty and vulnerable post. I have no answer but am in a similar situation. Though not as an engenier but as a former professional in the business world. For what it is worth my experience is that these things has to be taken serious. I ended up jobless, single and isolated before I realized how deep a hole I was in was. I could not allow myself to take the chance it was to quit or similar responsible action and stayed in it till I was very ill. So my advice is to keep reaching out to people who will listen to your feelings about this. Someone who takes you seriously! Best wishes
