Here in Australia I noticed the iOS “report spam” button on an SMS now says it sends a copy to my carrier (Telstra). They really need the same button for phone calls. Then they could react in realtime to investigate.
- eli 3y agoI think most providers have a shortcode you can "forward" spam texts too. Based on my experience with T-Mobile the reports just go in a circular file. The same number could keep sending the same message and it isn't blocked by the carrier.
- superq 3y ago(circular file = trash can, for those not familiar with the idiom.)
- cryptonector 3y agoI've news for you. They're never going to investigate, let alone in real time.
