Ignoring the safety concerns, isn't a big problem with ammonia that it takes a gargantuan amount of energy to produce?
- jfengel 3y agoIf you've got renewables to do it with, that's not a problem. It's ok if the energy in becomes energy out. That's some big assumptions, but not unphysical. It doesn't explain where they expect an ammonia infrastructure to appear from, especially since battery vehicles are already rolling and infrastructure is being built out.
