You think middle management's job is to select for the C suite? I fear you live in a dream world.
- red-iron-pine 3y agoindeed it is. your suitability for C-level depends on your ability to maneuver your way out of middle mgmt, often as quickly as possible.
- nprateem 3y agoThat assumes internal promotion and selection by middle managers. For internal promotion selection by senior managers is more likely. More so for external hires.
