("six month pause", etc) Very few discuss how many lives may be lost if we regulate and slow down the progress of AI. Rather than constantly focusing on x-risk, we should be just as often discussing the reasons to believe that life-saving and perhaps even civilization-saving breakthroughs may come about due to advances in AI technology.
