I think Americans are finally beginning to wake up to how much of their lives are absolutely sucked dry by rent-seeking middlemen. Any consumer surplus must be meticulously optimized away, eliminated, and recorded on quarterly profits. Hopefully the anti-trust pendulum will swing back in a big way in the 21st century.
