X under Musk's management wants to be the American version of WeChat, so I've taken to using the Chinese pronunciation of 'x' in their modern latin letter orthography. (It's basically English "sh" as in "shoe" but the tongue is raised to block more of the flow of air, to make it sound a bit more like a "hush" sound.) If for some reason, such as in a podcast that sounds too much like white noise to the audience saying things like "x ceo" pronounced that way, I've found "Xitter" to be a useful intermediate form.
