Generally it's when the bean-counters get more leverage during economic slowdowns you see the dark patterns emerge.
- bornfreddy 3y agoNot sure if they are to blame here though. Cars, sure. But for phones design and software cost doesn't decrease with worse UX, support costs probably even rise.
