Most proposed UBI programs are intended to replace the myriad other government welfare spending programs with a single program. Any theoretical inflationary impact wouldn't be more than the difference between the benefits produced by the UBI and aggregate benefits provided by the programs it replaces.
- s1artibartfast 3y agoI havent seen a single UBI program tested or implemented that actually came alongside welfare reduction. Every one is additional in practice. Just look to this Canadian one for example.
