Frankly I don't even like putting my pet photos online in close connection with myself. All it takes is one psychopath and one slip or link of information to try and use something as simple as a pet against you. Pretty low risk but people are so open with information while those promoting such openness and profiting from such openness are quite closed and incredibly selective with what information they allow to be public. Unless it's required by law it's usually marketing material or the minimum amount needed to conduct business.
