Not that I think there's an actual argument at play -- since OP was talking in jest I believe -- but while we're at it, that's the fallacy fallacy. Referring to the brand by a previous name (one still on the site I think?) isn't the same as referring to a person by a previous name. No one feels bad about it when my mum calls Starbursts "fruit chewies", it doesn't make a social situation uncomfortable.
