What you're describing is hardly "using the tools of capitalism against itself" and more like being an intelligent participant in it. Meekly accepting bad deals from archetypical capitalist gatekeepers like bankers and corporate managers is good for nobody in the long run. The system works much better if you - and everyone else - creatively and proactively push for the best deal you can get in al areas of life.
