- ChatGTP 3y agoUntil the phone is initialized, it seems as if it would be Apples property right?
- Sporktacular 3y agoWrong. It's yours the moment you pay for it. And there is a supply chain extending from where it is to your front door that just got easier to compromise.
- hu3 3y agoFrom your parent: > How can we be assured this can't be done for a phone that is set up, in my pocket? In that case the phone would already be initialized.
- TerrifiedMouse 3y agoThere is nothing right now stopping Apple from having iOS download updates over-the-air and installing them without telling you.
- Sporktacular 3y agoIt's not Apple that worries me. They already have god powers over the phone. It's the NSA and other supply-chain attackers who now have a channel to implant devices, at high-speed, en-masse and potentially at low cost.
