Tell HN: Search Hacker News update seems to have gone unnoticed
Maybe because of wrong URL and bad post formatting?

CHANGELOG:
Backend
- Rewrote the indexing process and web server
- Now running on cloud infrastructure (GCP)
- Improved speed of get object API endpoint
- No more need for a database, so we removed it
- Fixed indexing logic for story types
- Fixed indexing logic for updated items
Frontend
- You can now filter by story type!

- mikewarot 3y agoI noticed all was missing last night, but eventually found what I was looking for anyway in the comments.
- k310 3y agoI was puzzled by search options until I made myself aware of the gear icon. D'oh! Icons vary! Apple messed with my mind in the Preview App. (Ventura) When you activate the "markup" icon (distinguished by a StarTrek Federation Logo) The FORMER triangle to adjust color changed to three sliders, harder to see and distinguish from the "Shape Style" three lines, and near-identical to the line-spacing icon in word processors. "It worked great, so we changed it" (for 21-year old eyes) I can't unsee the gear now. :-)
