I have a custom domain, what's your guys favorite email provider
I have a custom domain ex: mycompany.com I'd like to set up a custom email ex: hi@mycompany.com, I was wondering what you're favorite services were and for what reason
- spindle 3y agohttps://purelymail.com/about https://purelymail.com/about Very straightforward service and helpful support.
- billybuckwheat 3y agoThanks for the pointer to Purelymail. I've been thinking of changing email providers and like the look of this service.
- tuga 3y agoThey seem a good option.
- riddley 3y agoMaybe not with the bus factor.
- ntw1103 3y agohttps://iredmail.org/ https://iredmail.org/ - I am in control.
- ano-ther 3y agoA combination of the smallest business package that Microsoft offers and metanet.ch, a local provider. I need MS Office anyway and found it the only practical way (apart from gmail) to keep email in sync on all devices. Metanet is more flexible in creating aliases and multiple mailboxes. I use that for machine-based communication and mailboxes I don’t need on my phone.
- BOOSTERHIDROGEN 3y agoMailbox.org I can top up credit.
- c0nducktr 3y agoI use fastmail.com. The pricing is alright, and it works well enough for me. You might get better answers if you mentioned what you were specifically looking for in a provider.
- sen 3y agoYeah I’ve used fastmail pretty much since they started, and have half a dozen family members and friends happily using it since not long after.
- jeromie 3y agohttps://proton.me/mail https://proton.me/mail - Custom domain setup was easy, security-conscious with gold-standard credentials, I'm not the product, etc.
- rjaobfmck 3y ago[dead]
- nrivoli 3y agoZoho for pricing. It’s alright, they answer their support email. They have a bunch of tools like gmail but never really used them.
- steveharman 3y agohttps://www.migadu.com https://www.migadu.com Migadu Single price for hosting as many domains and users as you need. The admin panel makes it the closest thing to hosting your own server, without the headaches of hosting your own server.
- zabana 3y agoPersonally I use AWS Workspaces for this, especially if your site's DNS is hosted on Route53. Everything is taken care of automatically. It's been a breeze so far.
- tuga 3y agomailcheap.co are a bunch of THIEFS. Don't trust these guys.
- chrisked 3y agoSince a decade using FastMail.com. Those guys understand how email is supposed to run.
- cultofthecow 3y agoI'm somehow very satisfied with Apple's iCloud option. You can get https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT212514 https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT212514
- KomoD 3y agoI use Google Workspace and I'm pretty satisfied with it, it's on the pricier side at €6.50/user (for me, including VAT) but I'm the only user and I like the benefit of having all the google services.
