I've seen that to avoid numbers that would go out of sync the moment they we're displayed, because it was better to be imprecise than to be wrong
- Moru 3y agoBut this was a timer on a normal phone. It's pretty useless to tell me it's less than one minute left until the eggs are done. Do I have time to do a bit more dishes or will the phone ring in one second? Who knows?
