Consider managing people to be in part, mentoring. Give people tasks that allow them to grow. "Delegating" to save you time will not lead to long-term happy staff.
- kaptainscarlet 3y agomanagers who are poor at delegating sometimes end up delegating the mundane work leaving the fulfilling work to themselves which contributes to the long-term unhappiness of staff you mentioned.
