The 4 year old child will be safer in the South, that's why Israel is asking them to temporarily relocate. I don't buy the "no oil for the drive" bullshit, I did read a lot of Hamas people saying they want to stay and fight, or alternatively threaten other people who want to leave. In fact I expect Hamas to plea to everyone who would listen why evacuation is impossible or inhumane or there is no oil or 1000 other excuses, evacuation will be the beginning of their defeat and they don't want to lose.
- hackerlight 3y agoIsrael just shut off water to 2 million civilians. There is no world where this is acceptable. This is disgusting genocidal behavior. We are a democracy with liberal values and this country should not be among our allies.
- weatherlite 3y agoI'm against the water move too. I don't think it will last much longer, water will be let in for humanitarian reasons, or some kind of safe corridors (inside or outside Gaza I have no idea) will be created for civilians.
- hackerlight 3y agoI agree, but it shows you the headspace that Israelis are in right now. It's a natural human response, but the psychological state that they're in and resulting dehumanization are extremely worrying for what's to come.

Even if expected and justified, it is still scary to witness outgroup bias laid bare like this.

- megous 3y agoYou're just lying. Bombing continued in the south and will continue. Hundreds of people were murdered by Israel in the south since evacuation order.
