I love this concept, there's some older cars with an excellent driving experience and iconic shapes out there to electrify. They're not worth spending big bucks on, but an EV retrofit kit that is 'good enough' would be worth it. Extra points, if your middle class 'car enthusiast' type could do the majority of the retrofitting (or all of it) himself. The aftermarket car culture has been waning a bit and safe electronics could be a big lift.
