What should be used to build the CPython of tomorrow?

- eternityforest 3y agoAnd this is one big problem I have with C. Too many build systems. And they apparently take enough time to fuss with that people actually discuss them like this? Other languages have zero or exactly one official one that's built into the language, and you have modules as a first class feature. Looking at the code you know exactly where something comes from, there's no way for anything to pollute the namespace of anything else without specifically trying, and it all feels like it's actually meant for reuse rather than for building each project from scratch.
