    I think this particular line might have been caused by the overall debauchery at r/NCD.

  It's not their line. They licensed their name and branding to another company. The same has been done with other brands like National Geographic, Discovery, Kodak, Jeep, etc.

  It's also the first noteworthy brand I've seen sell down jackets without disclosing any ethical measures or certifications.
