Myself using Debian/Ubuntu as work OS since i started studying 11 years ago. Dualboot for gaming. All my (IT) colleagues are using MacOSX. My pro/contra list: Contra: - gaming - want a proper desktop search engine/crawler (that doesn't eat up my CPU every day when indexing (and thus, creating far too much noise)) Pro: - everything else, never looked back edit: When i think back so much has improved in regards to Linux, it's awesome. No more kernel compiles, no more X11 configuration editing, no driver hassles. I'm curious what the future brings :)
