Ask HN: How to monetize a site that receives 120 visits a day? video games niche
i have a video game site that gets 120 visits a day. how do i start monetizing it. i have some costs to keep the site up and would really appreciate some help with this
- h2odragon 3y agoYou might beg for support from your users. You might have to go to direct, personal, intrusive appeals to get any notice. "We're gonna shut down without we raise $xx for the next years of expenses by the end of the month" I think the advertising people aren't interested in talking to you until the 10k/day and more range. If you're "wrong people", not even then.
- cannibalXxx 3y agoi have less than 8 months and i think it's almost impossible to reach 10,000 in such a short time. could i get a partnership here on HN?
- rolph 3y agosounds like you want to try VC partnership. you need a good pitch, and good timing. also it may help if it looks like your already capable of generating revenue.
- cannibalXxx 3y agothe site is simple but very informative. interested parties. if anyone has game-related products on amazon and is interested in posting them on our site we are open to negotiating ;)
