Life is too short to do something you don't like. Start your own thing on the side for a while and if it looks promising (hits a $ threshold) put in your notice at work.
It's exactly what I did and I have never looked back (going on 7 years now).
- simantel 3y agoYeah I agree, try ideas on the side without quitting your high-paying job. If something starts getting traction, then you have a decision to make. If you don't have the motivation to work an extra hour or two after your day job, you won't have the motivation to make a startup work.
