What's also kind of stupid is, if they entered the EV market, people would just buy them on their reputation alone. This hope is fading now as the competition takes over, but they absolutely no doubt would be able to build a reliable EV and once that reliable EV was for sale world wide, it would be a huge success just because people love Toyota. I personally think they could've dominated the market on reputation alone.
