For all kinds of reasons, there are places in the world where a child might be much better off watching a Khan Academy lecture than their local teacher. And the personalized learning approach is easily scalable, whereas replicating good human teachers is extremely hard. It's not that Zuckerberg and Gates are dumb, it's that they are working on a different problem than this person assumes.
