The weirdest Apple cult thing I ever witnessed: A colleague at university, when the transparant bubblegum all in one line of Mac's launched bought 4 for personal use to 'support Apple'.
- Veen 3y agoThat attitude was more common years ago when Apple was beleaguered and in real danger of going out of business. People who grew up with Macs and preferred the hardware and OS didn’t want it to go away, so they made efforts to support it. I don’t think it’s as common an attitude post-iPhone.
