I also had my mercury amalgam fillings removed and replaced by a specialist in a hazmat-like setup, and I also no longer drink alcohol, and I also don't eat refined sugars, and yet I still hear my tinnitus. But I don't suffer from my tinnitus. I only ever notice it occasionally, when I see any mention of it, or when I think about it. I.e., I got used to it. In the beginning though it was awful.
