I recommend using ear defenders whenever possible in louder environments. They're much more powerful than earplugs and much cheaper. A 30 decibel reduction for $30 is quite realistic.
- thfuran 3y agoYou can get 30 dB out of earplugs too.
- squeaky-clean 3y agoHearos are about $5, re-usable and offer a 30db model. That's about the maximum you can go before you're contending with the vibrations affecting your skull affecting your inner ear being louder than what's coming through the ear canal.
