Can you show any research indicating that it is not easy to fake with current diagnostic criteria?

  Nope! There's nothing published along those lines, given the criteria were updated in 2017 there's been plenty of time to test the prior methods again but either no one's tried or the results werent exciting enough to publish.

    Which means that there is no particular reason to believe that it can't still be faked. Given the nature of the disorder, it is hard to see how it could be otherwise. Given the rate at which prescriptions are being handed out, it is extremely unlikely that they are only giving prescriptions to people who actually have the disorder.
