With an average household size of 3.2 that's realistic.
Though imho it's a bit much. Pre-heatpump, our two person house drew less, even though I charge a PHEV. Maybe the figure includes industrial use?
- nathancahill 3y agoClimate in Croatia requires little to no AC and less heating than most of Europe. People often use wood/coal for heating in the winter too. Less industrialized than other parts of EU is surely a factor too.
- BerislavLopac 3y ago> Climate in Croatia requires little to no AC and less heating than most of Europe. I'm really curious what brought you to that conclusion.
- Melting_Harps 3y ago> I'm really curious what brought you to that conclusion. Having little to no insight or direct experience. I cannot tell you how unbearable Istria and Dalamatia coasts can get in the Summer months without AC. And I've lived in Zagreb not far from the Slovenian border when we couldn't afford to turn on the radiator on for more then a few hours and it f'ing sucked. It made living in Germany almost comfortable by comparison--I lived near the French border and only had kachelofen to heat the home. Croatian climate is incredibly diverse, its much like Californian climate in that respect; it has lots of islands where you may get away without AC or Heating, but that doesn't encompass the mainland. For such a tiny country it has a lot of diversity in terms of climate and culture for that matter.
