It only took a month in to my first book club to realize that the main reason I was coming back wasn't because "so and so book is so interesting" but because I loved hearing others' thoughts on the book. We could read a cook-book for all I care; it's chewing on thoughts and issues in person that matter. Wish I hadn't waited till my late 20's to get involved with a book club.
