Anyone else actually remember when you could time lights and hit a couple of consecutive greens? Now, instead of making people better, more-attentive drivers through practice and education every few years, we get to deal with another round of "smart" lights. My bet is that most cities won't adopt them since the powers that be use traffic as a chance to advertise their town's offerings. Why speed that up?
