According to one review [1], really close to the best hearing aids out there. Worked great for my wife. Earbuds + equalizer can also help with some forms of tinnitus: just filter out the band that triggers the nasty effects.

  Unfortunately, tinnitus comes in many shapes and forms. Acquired a tinnitus during my time working in an open-office spanning three floors with a waterfall in the center of it. So, I was quite motivated to look into the details. Oddly enough, while working for a leading hearing aid provider... for many it's a clicking, buzzing, hissing, or roaring. Not only a ringing at a specific set of frequencies. To add to the solution provided above, listening to brown noise or drone helps me with a 'hissing' tinnitus.

One-sided hearing loss here. I can only underline this. Tested them in professional surroundings against multiple four-digit-priced "real" hearing aids and for the price point it's ridiculous. One of the leading Hearing Aid Content Creators "Doctor Cliff" on them: I'm quite surprised that Apple is able to get away with this.
