I've been dragging around a similar concern. My solution might be to use Mozilla's Relay for the email and Privacy.com for the credit card.

That won't stop the data collection but it should mitigate how useful it is. Maybe?
- IG_Semmelweiss 3y agoYou could also use fastmail masked email. I think this is a valid setup. I don't even have a CC associated with roku (not sure why, but never paid for anything anyway). Until recently i needed no email and in the last reset the GUID almost forced an email. But if you search online, they show ways to get around the email requirement.
- chiefalchemist 3y agoAh. Really? Email is not required? Good to know. Thanks. Also, don't forget to change the DNS server on your wifi router - and maybe a VPN? - so they can't ID you by IP or whatever nefarious voodoo they do.
