More than that, a US company has an innate floor on 'how bad' they're willing to disrupt the US to get what they want, because they live and operate there. A foreign national company has no such floor if they are not our allies.
- jkubicek 3y agoThis may be true, but Facebook could disrupt the US significantly more before it starts to affect their business.
- janalsncm 3y agoI don’t think this argument holds any water. After Cambridge Analytica, basically the worst thing any social media has done to the US, I didn’t hear anyone calling for Facebook to be banned.
