- comex 3y agoIt indeed excludes all taxes and government-imposed fees.
- b112 3y agoI know no one who finds this baffling, or irritating. Oddly, only on HN do I ever see anyone(rarely!) express this. Beyond that, it's fully expected, is simple to deal with, it's solved as it is. There's nothing to do here. Nothing to fix.
- astrange 3y agoTypical reason to exclude taxes is that some people don't have to pay it.
- Ylpertnodi 3y agoSame in Eu: those that don't pay the taxes present their trade number and get the tax knocked off - often at the register (seen it often where a tradesperson just needs some quick items). Prices for the rest of us are visible and are what we pay. No guessing involved.
