I was angry for four years during the Trump presidency .. and that's as a Canadian! I couldn't look away from the news and was expecting him to be stopped at some point and it just never happened. To your first point, it's definitely very interesting to have to figure out this reality of ours and work on ourselves, it's a privilege to have the time and resources to do it effectively, I can't even imagine how many people are suffering without even realizing that their daily struggle could be anything else.
