AFAIK, there is only support for AV1 decoding in the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Apple's A17 Pro. No mobile SoC supports AV1 encoding (so far).

- ZeroGravitas 3y agoThe new Tensor G3 in the pixel 8 is supposed to have encoding. Not sure if it's been officially confirmed though.
- sylware 3y agogetting there, may be for AV2.
