You know, it just occurred to me. One benefit of Adobe abandoning Flash in the medium-term, will be a push for improvements on the functionality and speed of SVG. Google (Chrome) seems to mostly care about the canvas, re acceleration and all, whereas Adobe has much more interest in SVG because it needs it as a vector replacement for Flash.
