Nah I meant it straight, compared to some of the vendors in the smarthome market Google themselves are a dream when it comes to support. Same goes for Android OEMs and Qualcomm. Notice how Google only offered 7 years of support on the Pixel after they stopped using Qualcomm’s chips? Google’s third parties are even worse than Google in terms of support and Google’s support is bad. It’s such a mess that I’m happy to pay more to avoid Google products nowadays.
