I recently was looking at one place and started the process to book it when I realized that the cleaning fee was $279/night and the stated rental rate was $179/night. The cleaning fee was significantly larger than the rental fee!
- IAmGraydon 3y agoThey don’t charge cleaning fees by the night, nor can you set it up that way when you’re listing your property. It’s one fee for the stay.
- upon_drumhead 3y agoYou are correct, I amortized the fee to a per-night value, for a long weekend (Friday night until Monday morning). I should have been clearer on that.
