- munchler 3y agoIt's an unintentional pun on the word "bar". You can be disbarred, which means expelled from the (legal) bar. Or you can be barred (prevented) from practicing law. But "disbarred from practicing law" is either redundant or double-negative nonsense, depending on how you read the pun.
