As far as I'm concerned this whole "culture war" is just short termism vs long termism. You can be childfree, polyamorous, body positive, whatever, and enjoy your youth. In older age, your 50s and 60s onwards say, your health, your partner, your family become the basis of your life. It's the ultimate "fuck around and find out".
