Surely the client needs to know when there's an ad otherwise it can't prevent the user seeking past it or let the user actually click on the ad.
- NullPrefix 3y agoVideo seeking as a paid feature. Don't use it personally, but I've heard Spotify has something like that implemented where you can't just skip songs willy nilly.
