Weird. That’s such an opposite experience compared to my own. The relentless self promotion posts are absolutely stultifying, there is literally nothing in my feed I have even the slightest interest in, the feed itself is essentially one big invasive as for other people’s bullshit. I resentfully use it for job hunt and networking purposes, but god, I can’t imagine looking at the tripe people post and thinking to yourself “yes, this is good, I like this, I want more of this, I want to contribute to this.” Blah.
