"Exceptionalism" means "distinctive", not "better". The suggestion that America may be "better" because it is "exceptional" is a belief based on its hypothetical uniqueness, and it is not generally implied. One can argue for American exceptionalism on several fronts, but leave the positiveness of the concept up for debate, as many scholars and academics have done.
> Sadly, in the US, when we have a disaster of some kind, people turn into mobs that destroy property and steal everything they can. They will break into homes and burn down business districts. It's sad to watch. And it is very real.
> In Japan (and other nations), that simply does not happen. At all.
Well, this is a straight up lie. Not even a good one.
Riots in Europe are more frequent than in the US. Americans seem to have forgotten how to protest, or even that they have the right to do so. It wasn't that long ago that Paris burnt for weeks, a French tradition that they like to recreate every couple years or so. Between 2019 and 2021 there were dozens of riots in Spain, sparked from separatist movements. Police and protesters staged a battle in Leipzig this same year around June.
> We cannot compare this nation to other nations. We cannot compare any two nations. Things that work elsewhere do not work here. There are cultural, legal and governmental differences everywhere.
Again, most developed nations have socialized, universal, single payer healthcare systems.
It works everywhere. It does, that is a fact.
Your belief is that politics in the US are so different than everywhere else, that socialized healthcare cannot work. But let's call it what it is: a belief.
And in the meantime, you would rather keep the same system that made you pay ~2x as much as any other industrialized nation back in 2010.
> Obamacare is, perhaps, the largest crime ever perpetrated against the people of this nation.
Hyperbole this dumb doesn't deserve further answers.

So...you are saying this...from Medicaid's own website...isn't true? https://www.medicaid.gov/medicaid/eligibility/estate-recovery/index.html https://www.medicaid.gov/medicaid/eligibility/estate-recover... You are really good at insulting me. You are also good at constructing things I did not say and then arguing against your own imagination. Excellent on both points. Sadly, that does not change reality.
