The Last Express

- dudul 3y agoI loved this game when I played it as a teen. I especially enjoyed the "real time" component they tried to put in it. Other passengers doing their thing, regardless of if you were in the room or not. You missed dinner because you were searching someone's compartment? Well then you weren't there to hear that interesting conversation between 2 NPCs. I found it so refreshing compared to all the on rails games I was used to. I, however, never even thought of comparing it to Myst - another of my all time favorites. Even though they both do the slideshow gameplay they seem so different to me in their ambiance and mechanics.
